Herb pharm valerian liquid herbal supplement is made by herb farm, who have been making herbal medicine in applegate valley, oregon for over 35 years. We prepare our valerian extract from the fresh (undried) rhizome and root of valeriana officinalis plants which are certified organically grown on our own farm.

To assure optimal extraction of valerian’s bioactive compounds, the rhizome and root is hand-harvested in autumn or spring and then promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent. Herb Pharm Valerian (af) Glycerite is an alcohol-free, certified organic liquid herbal extract made from the rhizome and root of Valeriana officinalis plants, harvested in both autumn and spring. This 1 fl oz bottle promotes relaxation and restful sleep, calms the mind and body, and supports emotional well-being.

Product Description

This glycerite is extracted using 100% certified organic corn glycerin (palm-free to avoid rainforest deforestation) instead of alcohol. The dry herb/menstruum ratio is 1:4, with an extraction rate of 175 mg herb per 0.7 ml serving. The product is USDA Organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and contains no alcohol.

Suggested Use

Shake well before using. Adults add the extract to water up to 4 times daily, preferably between meals. For best sleep results, many users take it in the evening before bedtime.
