History: the origins peppermint oil (mentha piperita) date back to 1000 b.c. Egypt. Today, its pleasing and uniquely refreshing fragrance makes it one of the most popular aromatherapy oils. Usage: earth's care peppermint oil is steam-distilled from peppermint leaves and is 100% pure. Use in potpourri, as an air freshener, or in aromatherapy. Warnings: keep out of reach of children. Not for internal use. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, are taking any medications or have a medical condition, consult a doctor before use. May irritate skin. Flammable.
