In Ayurveda, Gymnema sylvestre is believed to help remove "accumulated sugars" a result of Pitta or Kapha imbalances. This product pacifies Pitta and Kapha doshas.

Ayurveda believes good health can be achieved by balancing (or correcting imbalances) the elements of nature (doshas) present within us; Vata (air), Pitta (fire), Kapha (water). Our dietary supplements play an important role in balancing the doshas, when used as part of a holistic regimen including diet, exercise, massage, meditation, and life-style changes.
